Just south of Lahaina, this condo is RIGHT on the ocean and another location that makes me want to hire a private chef to make dinner so we can eat, drink, be merry right on the ocean without the drive home.
This charming oceanfront house in Kiehei sleeps 10, with an additional rental on-site that can accommodate 6 more people. One block away from local restaurants, pubs, music and more. Reports from previous renters of sea turtles resting on the beach.

21 Things to Do on a Girls Getaway in Maui
1. Attend a Luau
Kick off your girls trip by attending a Hawaiian luau. The Royal Lahaina Luau and the Old Lahaina Luau offer a buffet-style feast. Or, the Feast at Lele offers dinner served at your table.
2. Drink Some Local Coffee
Drink some locally-grown coffee, and buy some to take home too!
3. Snorkel and Swim With Sea Turtles and Dolphins

There are many boat tours on Maui that offer snorkeling and swimming with the sea turtles and dolphins. But, my favorite way to do that is with a private or smaller group, not crowded like sardines on a large boat with a ton of people. It feels a lot more like being on a boat with old friends.
If a tour seems to leave early, like 6:30 am, remember the time difference. If you’re from the mainland, that may be 9:30 am to 12:30 pm where you live. You may wake up naturally before sunrise while in Hawaii!
Blue Water Rafting, Tropical Guides, Makai Adventures, and Hawaii Ocean Rafting all offer a variety of tours.

During Hawaii’s plantation era, saimin, similar to Chinese egg-noodle soup, was created. The recipe has evolved over past decades by Hawaii’s various immigrant groups. Noodles similar to Chinese chow mein were mixed with a Japanese dashi broth, then kamaboko, kimchi, green onions, Portugese sausage and Spam were added, contributing to the common ingredients in this modern-day recipe. Saimin sounds a lot like ramen or pho, I can’t to go back to Hawaii and to try it.
