I’m excited you’re here! I’m Kris, a nature-loving, seafood-eating Pacific Northwest girl with a penchant for travel and experiencing new places and the people who live there. I have years of professional event and travel planning experience and am here to educate and inspire you to try new things, see new places, and make more memories with your friends.
I have two daughters, who I’m very proud of. You’ll also find a 15 year-old blind, mostly deaf, sweet and happy Beagle, and a rescue Beagle mix with barking issues and lots of love to give in my home. My husband and I enjoy spending time remodeling our house and have about a dozen unfinished projects at the moment. (Or, at least I enjoy remodeling and upgrading our house, I know I have to pull him through the projects sometimes. But, he always likes the results in the end and willingly helps.)
Things I love
- amazing views of the mountains or oceans
- exploring Europe
- Arctic Outpost Radio
- designing graphics
- flowers and greenery
- roaming through the South
- big family dinners
- Quarantine Quichen
- creating and finding new ideas
- history and museums
- long conversations with my grandmother-in-law
- good music
I can’t wait for the pandemic to be over so I can continue to travel the United States and the world, and share my experiences with you. In the meantime, I’m creating blog posts to help you plan your next girls weekend, and with ideas for girls weekend destinations. I’m even creating ideas for you about how to spend time with your friends while social distancing.
